ABOUT THE SERVICE

What is it?

Permits and certificates confirm the origin or status of goods, or eligibility for a particular customs or trade procedure. Depending on the shipment and trade route, documents such as EUR.1, A.TR, certificates of origin or other supporting documents may be required.

How we can help

We advise on EUR.1, A.TR and other origin documents.

We assess your specific situation, review the available documents and explain the actions required for the customs procedure. When needed, we help prepare documents and coordinate the process through completion.

EUR.1 certificate

EUR.1 is a movement certificate used as proof of preferential origin where a trade agreement between the European Union and an eligible third country allows reduced or zero import duty. The goods must satisfy the origin rules of the relevant agreement and valid proof of origin must be presented to customs. REDVIS can help assess origin, review the supporting documents and prepare the information required for an EUR.1 certificate.

A.TR certificate

A.TR is a movement document used in trade under the customs union between the European Union and Türkiye. It confirms the customs status of goods and, where the applicable conditions are met, enables goods covered by the customs union to move under its tariff arrangements. A.TR is not a certificate of origin, so the goods and route must first be checked for eligibility. REDVIS can help verify applicability and prepare the required information.

Certificates of origin and other origin documents

Depending on the goods, country of origin, destination and applicable trade regime, a non-preferential certificate of origin, an origin declaration on an invoice or another proof of origin may be required. Different documents follow different rules for determining and proving origin. REDVIS helps identify which document is appropriate for the transaction and what supporting evidence is needed.
